Ray of light gave the masses the 'William Orbit' sound that gave Madonna her enormous appeal for the late 90's. Her new trip / dance sound was a massive hit around the world. With a new look, Mother Madonna had arrived, and in this process bringing a 1971 folk/rock song back from the grave 'Sepheryn' by Curtiss & Maldoon in the form of 'Ray of light', the title track.
